The ingredients are seen as below. I followed the basic ingredients as per direction on the website:
1 bunch of broccoli chopped/broken into small to medium sized florets
8-10 small potatoes cut into small pieces
1 small red onion thinly sliced
8 large eggs
Vegetable broth- 1 cup
Grated parmesan cheese 1 cup
I modified the recipe a little to make it a bit more spicy/flavorful and Indian-ized:
1 1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbs of fresh ginger and garlic
2-3 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
One bunch of broccoli broken into small to medium sized florets
1/4 of a medium sized red onion (thinly sliced)
3 cups of vegetable broth
3 cups of water
1/2 to 2/3 cup of heavy whipping cream,
10-12 pre-boiled baby carrots (yes the ones from our juicing stock!)
1 tsp cumin seed powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp of fresh ginger and garlic
A dash of black pepper
Once you have added all the ingredients, let it come to a boil. Then, bring the heat down to medium and let the broccoli and baby carrot cook and become infused with all the spices. In the end, I added freshly squeezed lime juice (5 quartered pieces) and let it come to a boil. Then I added 1/4 tsp of sugar-in-the-raw. You're probably going "wha?!" as you read this but meh, I wanted to experiment and so I did.
Happy Tuesday to all!
